The annual Ferntree Gully Bush Croquet Day is on Sunday 6th May 2012. Come along for a fun family day. The first heat starts at 10am, with finals played after lunch. Bring a picnic and drinks - a bar-b-que is available. Cost to play is $10 for adults. Children free. All money raised goes to the Ferntree Gully Trust for improvements to this beautiful and popular reserve, located at the top of Growee Gulph on the Bylong Road. Everyone welcome!

A monthly market operating on the second Saturday of each month, the market showcases the works of local artisans and producers. The market is strictly local artisans(art,jewellery,photography,textiles,knitting, weaving,woodwork,sculpture,music,mosaic etc) as well as producers of fresh & value added products (fruit&vegetables,plants,seeds,herbs,cheeses,oils,wines,baked goods,preserves etc) 9am - 1.30pm

Organised by the Cudgegong Valley Pioneer Vehicle Club. Classic and Vintage cars on display. Stalls selling 2nd hand car, truck and tractor parts, plus anything and everything from 2nd hand tools and furniture to all kinds of bric a brac. Hours 6am to after 12 noon. Hot food available from 7am. Stall Holders $8, Entry fee $2.

Between 200 and 400 amateur and professional astronomers camp out under the stars. There are workshops, lectures, sky tours, a swap meet, a trade show, children's activities, an AstroImaging competition and great food put on by Kandos Scouts.
